Verizon Close To Buying Yahoo's Internet Assets In $5 Billion Deal

Verizon is rumored to purchase the search, content, mobile and advertising business of Yahoo, in an effort to compete with Google and Facebook in chasing ad-money. If the transaction is successful, Verizon will reach nearly $10 billion in expansion-driven investments.
